Historically, Microsoft has kicked off as the first keynote at CES, but this year, Qualcomm – leading designer and manufacture of mobile device processors took the stage. So… what happens when a relative new comer to the silicon world sees fit to fill those shoes? A mega-million dollar laser light show random talk-a-thon that goes from “Huh?” to insanity to disaster and back to huh again.

For those who don’t know, CES is the world’s largest consumer technology trade show and basically sets the tone of what to expect for the next year. We didn’t get to go this year, but it is most certainly one of our favorite times of the year. You can clearly see why from below.
